BayBay a eu la vie dure ces dernières années, il a passé beaucoup de temps à l'hôpital pour se remettre d'un grave problème d'alcoolisme. My Universe a été créé sur son lit d'hôpital, exprimant ses sentiments intérieurs, luttant avec sa condition et l'abandon de sa famille.

“Chaque moment est difficile. Il n'est pas facile pour moi de penser. Il n'est pas facile pour moi de dormir, parler…. C'est même compliqué de boire…. Je n'apprécie pas la vie. C'est trop compliqué d'apprécier la vie.”

Son travail est une merveilleuse évasion vers une imagerie pleine de couleurs, d'air, de lumière et de joie de vivre.
