« Il y a eu trois étapes dans le trajet : la gare de triage, pour l’intérieur de l’Orient Express ; le voyage dans le Jura ; le trajet de Rouen à Dieppe avec Susan, un jour de temps gris, à travers le bocage. Ces trois étapes ayant constitué trois épisodes d’une fiction, c’est donc d’une traversée qu’il s’agit. Parce que cette traversée fictionnelle est intentionnelle mais non préméditée, encore moins calculée, le trajet s’est effacé devant la traversée. » – Sarah Moon (extrait de l’entretien)
