Afin de témoigner de son amour absolu pour la danse classique, Isabelle Bertrand a souhaité lui consacrer un livre, né d'une passionnante collaboration avec Giorgio Fourés, danseur à l'Opéra de Paris. D'Ostende à Paris et de Paris à Vienne, la photographe souhaite associer le lecteur du livre à une fiction, lors d'un voyage photographique où le danseur se déploie dans l'espace, comme des battements d'ailes qui s'ouvrent page après page. Il traite de l'inspiration et de l'expiration, du rythme et de la cadence, alternant autant de lieux contrastés où le caractère fragile et éphémère du mouvement dansé se confronte à des architectures brutales ou très structurées comme les décors scéniques d'une fresque en perpétuel mouvement. De cette confrontation naît une émotion poétique qui laisse entrevoir un univers sensible et spontané plein de surprises sous le titre de Voyage d’un danseur.
