Beaucoup de gens prennent des photos avant de manger. En tout cas en Asie, les gens le font, mais vraiment tout le temps. Ils prennent des photos principalement pour les publier sur Instagram ou Facebook. Cette "situation" (ou ce qui se passe ?) nous a intéressés.
Comme beaucoup d'autres utilisateurs de SNS, nous avons utilisé un appareil photo mobile. Nous n'avions pas pour objectif de faire paraître la nourriture délicieuse sur les photos, mais nous nous sommes concentrés sur la simple prise de l'image elle-même. Nous avons observé la nourriture et nous nous sommes dit : comment ne pas omettre les propriétés des proto-matières lorsque nous les convertissons en image ? Le flash intégré nous a donné la possibilité de trouver un moment figé afin de pouvoir regarder de plus près comme si nous étions sous un microscope.
"Have A Nice Day" n'a rien à voir avec la nourriture. Il s'agit de l'"objet" de ce que nous appelons la nourriture. Vous retrouverez nos flash de la substance elle-même. Vous pouvez feuilleter les pages comme si vous faisiez défiler l'écran dans votre main. Mais à un moment donné, si le retournement s'arrête et que vos yeux se fixent, vous verrez ce que nous avons repéré. - kontaakt
