Artiste français d’origine asiatique, Tiane Doan na Champassak (1973) a fait des débuts remarqués dans la photographie documentaire. Mais il bascule rapidement dans un univers artistique où l’être humain apparaît dans toute sa complexité.

Poussant son travail sur le corps jusqu’à l’abstraction, fasciné par les manifestations de la foi, les effets de la censure et les troubles de l’identité sexuelle, Tiane Doan na Champassak n’a de cesse d’explorer maints aspects de la créativité humaine, cherchant toujours le moyen technique et la forme la plus appropriée pour révéler une sensibilité spirituelle et définitivement plasticienne.
