Tamarind Ghosts de Tiane Doan na Champassak présente une exploration de l'érotisme, de la censure et de la prostitution en Thaïlande, alors que la plupart des prostituées de Bangkok faisaient leur commerce dans les environs du parc Sanam Luang sous le regard vigilant du palais royal. Elles se tenaient sous les branches denses des tamariniers en train de solliciter des clients, les gens commencèrent à les désigner comme des Fantômes de Tamarinier, Tamarind Ghosts.

Toutes les œuvres contenues dans les livres qui composent les Tamarind Ghosts ont été récupérées par l'artiste à partir d'une gamme de sources diverses, y compris des tirages vintage, des livres trouvés et Google Street View, avant d'être manipulées et transformées.

Quatre livres rassemblés dans un coffret, accompagnés d'un texte de Brad Feuerhelm, utilisant différents supports de papier, techniques d'impression et vernis pour conserver l'essence du matériau d'origine et améliorer la transformation de l'image de l'artiste.
