La série photographique contenue dans ce livre retrace le confinement vécu par le photographe Philippe Enquin.
Depuis son balcon et ce, pendant deux mois, il n'eut de cesse de photographier les scènes de rues et de fenêtres Parisiennes. Il prit peu à peu conscience de l'opportunité qu'il avait de pouvoir observer tous ces micros événements.
"Les conditions étaient idéales : presque pas de circulation, peu de passants et même peu de vélos (au départ), sans parler de ce printemps splendide d’une luminosité exceptionnelle dans un Paris limpide."
