Et puis il y a Brady, une ville reculée du Nebraska, où Geraci coupe le moteur, forgeant au fil des années une profonde amitié avec James et sa famille. American Eden est un guide de l’Amérique marginale, cachée, ignorée, nostalgique et pourtant toujours merveilleuse. C’est une ode au voyage et au coucher du soleil comme horizon sans fin, tandis que les lumières s’estompent sur la grande frontière.

Le livre comprend des essais de l'historienne de la photographie Rachel Sailor, du critique et collectionneur Dionisio Gavagnin et du conservateur Steve Bisson.
