C’est en lisant le roman de Kurt Vonnegut, Slaughterhouse-five, que Miho Kajioka s’est véritablement intéressée à ce sujet.Miho Kajioka a longtemps été fascinée par la chronologie et le sens des événements. Selon elle, la photographie capture des moments et les fige ; afficher des impressions, c'est comme jouer avec le sens du temps et se perdre dans cette chronologie.
