La troisième publication de Shinya Arimoto chez Zen Photo Gallery nous invite à la découverte du monde des insectes et des bestioles. Tokyo Debugger regroupe des photos prises entre 2010 et 2019, dans les régions montagneuses d'Okutama et de Hinohara, la Préfecture de Tokyo.
Loin des êtres humains et de Tokyo, Arimoto capture les insectes de la région -entre papillons de nuit, mantes, araignées, serpents et grenouilles, et immortalise les traces d'une ancienne présence humaine à travers une architecture abandonnée, fondue dans la nature japonaise.
Tout comme différentes faces d'une même pièce, les insectes vont et viennent librement d'un espace à un autre, entre Tokyo et ses régions montagneuses.
Arimoto s'empare d'un autre Tokyo, peu impressioné par la megalopole cimentée, et se penche sur les créatures les plus fructueuses de la planète.
