Les gens ont toujours été fascinés par la Mer Morte. Au fil des siècles, ce lieu a été un refuge pour les messies, les fanatiques, les martyrs, les rois et les ascètes. Les gens priaient, péchaient, se guérissaient et s'entretuaient sur ses rives. Ils ont construit des barrages et des usines, foré des puits, coupé la mer de toute source d’eau douce et l’ont laissée mourir. Et pendant ce temps, nous continuons à prier, à pécher et à nous entre-tuer, en déplaçant de plus en plus profondément nos chaises de plage et nos parasols, en suivant silencieusement la mer qui disparaît.

People have always been fascinated by the Dead Sea. Over the centuries, This place has been a refuge for messiahs, zealots, martyrs, kings, and ascetics. People prayed, sinned, healed and kill each other on its shores. They built dams and plants, drilled wells, cut the sea from any source of freshwater and left it to die. And meanwhile, we continue praying, sinning and killing each other, moving our beach chairs and sunshades deeper and deeper, silently following the disappearing sea.
